Reliable, safe and fast. HPM’s fast-connect socket 37QC is fully compatible with the updated standard AS/NZS3112:2017: “Insulation piercing terminals or connecting devices shall conform to the relevant requirements of AS/NZS IEC 60998.2.3.”
This implies an arduous thermal cycling test of 384 cycles of 1 hour duration at an ambient temperature of 40°C with full load current applied for the first half hour of each cycle. At the end of the test the maximum voltage drop across a connection point has to be less than 22.5mV.
